Autumn – Part One

Because we’re loving sorts, today we thought we’d bring you two blog posts. This first one is because we literally couldn’t contain the pictures we took of our first autumnal colours today. This time of year is especially exciting for us as it’s been a very, very long time since we saw anything like it. When we were backpacking, we followed summers across three continents, and prior to that we lived in Dubai where it was just one, long, crushing summer – for three years.

Anyway, we’ve been starved of this stuff. So you’ll forgive us if we bring you more than just one part of our Great Autumn Indulgence…

Thank you very much for your beautiful photos and writing, Katy and Jamie.

To those who would like to see these scenes:
All the colored leaves here are from Ryuzu (Dragon Head’s) Falls, which is about 15 minutes by car from Kegon Falls, if I remember correctly.
Walk down the path along Ryuzu Falls, and you will be amazed and speechless with the beauty of brilliant leaves with Lake Chuzenji in the background. And you will forget about the time you are supposed to go back to your tour bus, just like WE DID!
